To open up links in the caret browsing mode, move the cursor to the anchor text or the link. To deselect the whole paragraph, release Ctrl + Shift and press any arrow keys. Bring the caret to the beginning of the paragraph, press and hold Ctrl + Shift, and press the Down arrow. You can also easily select a whole paragraph using key combinations. To deselect, use the opposite arrow while still pressing Ctrl + Shift. To select the text word by word, press and hold Ctrl + Shift and use the arrow keys to highlight the words.
